you shop. we give.

For every 15 bottles you purchase, TRS Care donates a medical wig to a patient in need.

Your contribution of only $20 is all it would take.

15 BOTTLES = 1 WIG

**The amount of wigs donated will be manually updated as we choose the recipients and send out their wigs to them.**

OUR MISSION.

Our mission is to empower cancer patients and survivors and help them thrive with cancer. When you buy a Sip & Thrive Bottle, you help donate a wig to a cancer patient, and we let you choose who to give it to. For every 15 bottles that are purchased, we match your purchase dollar for dollar and donate a $600 value medical wig of their choice to a patient in need.

WE GIVE WITH EVERY PURCHASE, AND IT STARTS WITH YOU.

HOW IT WORKS.

1. YOU BUY

You purchase a $20 bottle from TRS Care and either nominate a friend to receive a wig or have us pick a recipient. Every time you take a sip out of your bottle, just know your small contribution had a huge impact on a cancer patient's life!

2. WE MATCH

For every dollar you spend on our Sip & Thrive bottles, we match a dollar and add it to our donation fund. Your purchase will have double the impact!

3. WE DONATE

We draw a winner from your nominations and/or a list of our existing patients in need of a wig. We send them a high-quality, cranial prosthesis aka medical wig of their choice (up to $600 retail value).

REAL PEOPLE. REAL IMPACT.

WHAT IS #SIPANDTHRIVE?

When cancer patients are going through chemotherapy, it is so important that they do not get dehydrated. Staying hydrated can help make treatment side effects less severe and lowers their chances of missing or delaying cancer treatments. In an effort to spread awareness about the importance of staying hydrated during cancer treatments, we started our #SIPANDTHRIVE movement. Our bottles are the perfect travel companion for cancer patients. They're lightweight, shatter-resistant, practical, and pretty - allowing patients to easily carry them to their chemo appointments and sip and thrive all day.

While this campaign was initially crafted for cancer patients, the importance of hydration applies to all of us. Our body depends on water to survive. So get your bottle and join our movement.

I WANT ONE

"EVEN IF YOU JUST CHANGE ONE LIFE, YOU'VE CHANGED THE WORLD FOREVER."

WHY WE GIVE.

BECAUSE MEDICAL HAIR LOSS IS MORE THAN A VANITY ISSUE.

In a study examining the effects of chemotherapy on self-esteem and body image, it was found that 73.3% of the patients did not feel as self-confident as before treatment and that for 46.6% alopecia was the most traumatic side effect of chemotherapy. Medical hair loss negatively influences self-image, so much so that up to one in 12 patients refuse or delay life-saving cancer treatment if there is a risk of hair loss. Our hair is a part of our identity, and suddenly losing it can truly devastate lives.

BECAUSE LEARNING TO LOVE YOURSELF AGAIN TAKES TIME.

You and I may not understand this, but cancer doesn't end when treatment ends. Anyone who is a cancer survivor will agree that it’s not easy to just pickup where you left off in your pre-cancer lives. There are so many emotional side effects that stay with you post-cancer that we don't often talk about. Being devastated by the scars inside and out. Missing the way your hair used to look. Saddened by the changes in your body. Feeling unattractive. Feeling less feminine. All of these feelings are valid, but what sucks is that some people might feel like they’re not allowed to have these feelings. They may feel like they should be happy and grateful that they survived cancer, and they shouldn’t mourn what they’ve lost. But the reality is, it takes time. It takes time to get back to your "normal" life. It takes time to get used to your bald. It takes time to learn to love your new self.

BECAUSE IT TAKES A VILLAGE TO GET THROUGH CANCER.

We believe part of the healing process is learning to feel comfortable - and even learning to love - yourself and your new body. That’s it. That’s why we do what we do. We want our survivors to thrive in their post-cancer lives. We want them to feel comfortable, and confident again. Whether that means rocking their new bald look and keeping the wigs for special occasions or using their wigs for daily wear. Whatever helps them learning to love themselves again, TRS Care is here to provide support and help repair the relationship they have with their bodies. And you have the power to do the same. It takes a village to get through cancer. Small actions make huge impacts. Your contribution of only $20 is all it would take.
