October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an awareness campaign to increase attention and support for the disease. The goal is to get as many people involved in raising awareness about the early detection and treatment of the disease and to show support to people affected by breast cancer. Join us in this great cause to help those women who are in need today!
HOW TO SUPPORT BREAST CANCER FIGHTERS AND SURVIVORS?
During this month, we wear pink ribbons to honor survivors, remember those loved ones who lost to the disease, and also to support those who are fighting against it today. This is a symbol to show we are all there for them and shows unity between people to inspire hope in this difficult time. It is important for us to be aware of this disease because many people around the world are going through it. Statistics show that 1 in 8 women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. So it is very important to have early screening because that can help catch the disease when it is at a treatable stage.
