If your insurance is willing to cover your wig, but we are not in network with your insurance, you can still receive a wig from us!
We suggest contacting your insurance and asking if they are willing to work with an out of network company. If they are then you can place a retail order with us and when you are at check out, make sure to ask for an invoice. Your insurance should then be able to reimburse you.
To qualify for a wig/cranial prosthesis through your insurance, you must have a valid prescription from your physician that certifies that you have not received a wig/cranial prosthesis through insurance.

Our process is quite simple and easy:
Step 1: Verify your eligibility with your insurance.
Step 2: Work with your physicians to obtain a prescription (if you do not already have one).
Step 3: File claims with your insurance. We can assist you in filing a claim on your behalf!
2) Select your wig/cranial prosthesis from our collection.
3) Attach your prescription. We will contact your physician, if necessary, and obtain a prescription if you do not have one. Once your eligibility has been verified, we will ship out your order, and file a claim with your insurance!
You will be contacted within 24 business hours of placing your order via email or phone. If all the information we received is correct and you are eligible, your order will be shipped out with priority mail. If more information is required, then a customer care specialist at TRS Care will work with you to make sure your order is processed as quickly as possible.
Yes! TRS Care requires a prescription by an authorized physician. If you do not have one, then we will work with you and your doctor to obtain a valid prescription for your Wig/Cranial Prosthesis.
If you already have a prescription, please send it to us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or fax at 346-674-3067. Once we receive your prescription, we will review it to verify if it meets the requirements outlined by your insurance.
As per insurance policies, a cancer patient is only eligible for one wig at this time.
Shipping typically takes one to two weeks. It depends on where you are. Orders after being processed will take 5-7 business days to arrive. However, if you would like a better idea of when your wig will arrive, we suggest looking at the tracking number you received in the email that you received when you placed your wig order.
We use all major carriers, and local courier partners. You’ll be asked to select a delivery method during checkout.
Unfortunately, as per policy, wigs cannot be returned due to COVID and health and safety reasons. However, we did speak with the manufacturer for you and they said they will take it back as long as it is unaltered/new and in its original packaging, with a 10% restocking fee and shipping would be on the customer.
