You guys don't take my insurance, now what?

Don't worry! You still have a few options

File a claim yourself.

Although we are not in-network with your insurance, you may still be eligible to receive a wig or breast prosthesis through your insurance provider. Depending on the type of plan and your coverage, your insurance company may cover a wig and/or post-mastectomy care items for you if you have a prescription with a cancer diagnosis code. We definitely recommend calling your insurance provider to ask them the following:

For wigs:
1) Do you provide coverage for a cranial prosthesis/medical wig for the CPT Code A9282?
2) Do you offer a network gap exception for an out-of-network service provider?

For breast care items:
1) Do you provide coverage for post-surgical bras (CPT Code L8000) and breast prosthesis (CPT Code L8030)?
2) Do you offer a network gap exception for an out-of-network service provider?

If the answer to both of those questions is yes, then we have some good news for you! You may still be eligible to get these items from us and get reimbursed from your insurance provider. We know all of this may be a little confusing. Feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions.

Pay with your FSA/HSA account.

Purchasing a medical wig and/or post-mastectomy care items like mastectomy bras and breast forms qualify for FSA (Flexible Spending Account) or HSA (Health Savings Account) reimbursement if you have a cancer diagnosis. Therefore, if you have a HSA or FSA account with your health insurance plan, you can use that to purchase these items from us. We offer up to a 30% discount on all our items.
